Seiji and his son, Takuya, represent the 14th and 15th generations, continuing this legacy with care and dedication. In the 1970s, Seiji returned to organic farming methods. The result? A lush, thriving tea garden that lives in harmony. With nature, earning the prestigious JAS (Japan Agricultural Society) organic certification. Every visit to the Shigeta family feels like coming home. Their warmth and generosity are boundless, welcoming us with homemade soba and a spread of delicious dishes. The Shigetas embody kindness in every way, and it shines through in the care they pour into their tea.

    It’s the same tea as the loose leaf version I already love, but this one makes it easy to steep when there’s no time for the full ritual. Perfect for a quick afternoon break or a refreshing bottle of cold brew. Same great taste — just with even more ways to enjoy it!
